Post-Baby Healing for Core and Pelvic Floor 15+ yrs

Had a baby recently? Would you like to start working out or getting f it again? Would you like to be strong and prepare for your next pregnancy? Join me! Learn about your diastasis (split middle) and how to make your deep core work again. You will learn to strengthen your pelvic floor, stopping leakage and reducing prolapse. Learn gentle and progressive deep core exercises in class that you can continue at home!
To participate you must be cleared for exercise by your health care provider

Pelvic Floor and Core Strength for Women 15+ yrs
CDCC – Fitness Studio Instructor: Carmen Ditzler
Pelvic floor challenges such as incontinence, prolapse, and core weakness can sneak up on us as we age. This class is for women in peri to postmenopause (35-55 years old).You can learn to improve your pelvic and deep core function in order to enjoy doing the things you love to do! Breath, move, strengthen, release and relax in a supportive setting.

Posture Workshop 15+ yrs
CDCC – Fitness Studio Instructor: Carmen Ditzler
Are you sitting for extended periods at your computer or to sew? Experiencing tech neck, poor posture, or Dowager’s Hump? Have you noticed that you have a hump at the base of your neck, are chin-poking or slouching? Learn about how you can decrease your neck pain and headaches, improve your energy and endurance, enjoy your work and hobbies with strong, elegant posture. This 2 hour workshop will teach you gentle exercises and stretches, breathing and movement, and postural cues that work for you and you can practice in your everyday life.
Friday 6:15 – 8:15pm May 12 $18 + tax / 1 class

What’s it like in Carmen's hypopressives class?
You are the boss of you! Work to the level you feel ready for in the moment.
Mixed level classes mean you can work at your own pace and challenge yourself. There are always instructions for making the poses harder or easier.
Warming up, stretching, mobility- all adapted to needs in the class.
Breathing- practice hypopressive breath with Carmen counting for you.
Apneas- practice the apnea with cues and Carmen can check if you’re doing it correctly.
Poses- cueing and correction for poses. Adding the breath and apneas.
Learning new poses, combinations, being challenged.
Support from the instructor and other students. We always have time to chat about wins and challenges.
There are laughs and groans and cheers!
Everything that happens at class stays in the room!
